UpNrth is a boutique digital agency based in the heart of North Yorkshire. We help ambitious businesses get found, get chosen and grow, through web design, development, SEO, AI-powered search, PPC and social.
Our story
Meet the founder.
I've spent more than 16 years in search and paid media, working agency-side, in-house and as a freelance consultant. I'm a technical SEO and PPC specialist at heart, and along the way I've worked on brands including GOV.UK, Safestore and Lights4Fun.
Time and again I saw small and medium-sized businesses paying for work they didn't understand, reported in numbers that didn't mean much. They deserved the same quality as the big brands, without the agency layers, the jargon or the long contracts. So I started UpNrth.
Today we're a small team based in North Yorkshire, covering web design, development, SEO, AI search, PPC and social for businesses on our doorstep and right across the UK. You deal with the people doing the work, you get honest advice in plain English, and everything we do ties back to enquiries, sales and growth.
Search is changing faster than it has in years, with AI tools now answering the questions people used to type into Google. Helping our clients stay visible, and get recommended, through that change is what gets me out of bed.
